Job summary

Emerus in Fort Worth, TX seeks a Registered Nurse to assess, plan, direct and evaluate patient care in our small-format hospital. The role focuses on Telemetry/ICU nursing with a priority on patient safety and high-quality care.

You will follow physician orders, collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, and ensure privacy and infection control while managing admissions, discharges and procedures. Requires state RN license, 2+ years in relevant units, BLS/ACLS; PALS preferred.

Qualifications

• Registered nurse with current state licensure and 2+ years in Telemetry/ICU.
• BLS and ACLS certification required; PALS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan and provide age-appropriate nursing care based on specialty knowledge.
• Follow physician orders in delivering nursing care.
• Maintain patient privacy and confidentiality.
• Adhere to infection control and aseptic techniques.
• Collect lab samples and perform tests per policies and CLIA.
• Handle admissions, discharges and transfers.
• Assemble equipment for diagnostic or treatment procedures.
• Ensure care aligns with state Board of Nursing standards.
• Perform quality assessment activities and document results.
• Attend required staff meetings and company-sponsored sessions.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
