Corewell Health’s Royal Oak Hospital Rehab Unit is seeking a part-time night-shift CNA to support an inpatient program that helps orthopedics, neurology, and cancer patients regain function and return home. You’ll work alongside nurses and therapists on a 24-hour weekly schedule, contributing to safe mobility and comprehensive care plans.

The role emphasizes direct patient care, documentation in the EHR, and smooth unit operations in a busy rehab setting.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Previous hospital or nursing home experience preferred.
• American Heart Association or American Red Cross Basic Life Support required.
• Current CNA certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care according to the plan of care and unit routines.
• Safely transport patients via wheelchair or stretcher and document services.
• Serve as an observer when required and monitor safety via on-site or remote methods.
• Perform receptionist and clerical duties to support nursing operations.
• Document care in the electronic medical record.
