Job summary
Corewell Health's Royal Oak Hospital in Michigan is seeking a dedicated registered nurse to join the Inpatient Rehab Unit. You will provide professional nursing care across assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating to support patients returning home.
This night shift role covers 36 hours weekly, with 7:00pm to 7:30am hours and weekend rotation. The unit treats orthopedic and neurology patients, focusing on safe mobility and family-centered care, within a Magnet-designated system.
Qualifications
- Associates or Diploma in Nursing required.
- Bachelor's in Nursing required within 5 years for GN or RN with less than 1 year of experience.
- Graduates from a non-accredited school of nursing must have at least one year of acute care experience or two years in a licensed health care role and must have passed the NCLEX.
- MI Registered Nurse (RN) required within 60 days of hire.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) required from AHA/Red Cross/Canadian Heart and Stroke.
Responsibilities
- Provide professional nursing care following the nursing process.
- Collaborate with patient/family to plan and educate about plan of care.
- Document education and learning in health records.
