Job summary

Corewell Health’s Royal Oak Hospital Rehab Unit seeks an experienced Registered Nurse for its Inpatient Rehab Unit. You will provide professional nursing care across the nursing process and work with therapy, nursing, and medical teams to support patient recovery.

This 24-hour schedule includes night shifts and weekend rotation. Associates or Diploma in Nursing required; BSN preferred within five years for GN or RN with limited experience.

Qualifications

• Associates or Diploma in Nursing Required.
• Bachelors in Nursing Required within 5 years for GN or RN with less than 1 year of experience.
• MI Registered Nurse (RN) Required within 60 days of hire.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required upon hire from one of the following organizations - American Heart Association, American Red Cross, or Canadian Heart and Stroke.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care under the ANA scope of practice.
• Assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and discharge using patient-family centered care.
• Collaborate with Nurse Leader and multidisciplinary team to develop and execute the plan of care.
• Document education and learning appropriately in health records.
