Job summary

Corewell Health in Royal Oak is seeking a part-time RN to deliver professional nursing care using the nursing process, including assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation, and discharge. You will collaborate with the Nurse Leader and care teams to educate patients and families and document learning in the health record.

The unit serves ortho and neuro patients with a focus on safe mobility and home readiness.

Qualifications

• Associates or Diploma in Nursing required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing within 5 years for GN or RN with less than 1 year of experience.
• Graduates from a non-accredited school of nursing must have NCLEX licensure.
• MI Registered Nurse (RN) required within 60 days of hire.
• BLS certification required at hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care using the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and discharge.
• Coordinate with Nurse Leader and care teams and document education and learning in the health record.
• Engage patient-family in planning, education, and care delivery.
