Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology, Clinical Laboratory Science, or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of clinical laboratory experience.
• ASCP, NCA, or equivalent certification preferred.
• In-depth knowledge of clinical laboratory regulatory and accreditation requirements.
• Familiarity with The Joint Commission and CAP standards.
• Demonstrated leadership and team-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily inpatient phlebotomy operations and staff.
• Ensure compliance with laboratory policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.
• Maintain readiness for accreditation and regulatory inspections.
• Monitor workflow, staffing, productivity, and quality of services.
• Lead quality improvement initiatives and promote patient safety.
• Collaborate with laboratory leadership, nursing, physicians, and other clinical departments.
• Support staff development, training, and performance management.
