Job summary
Intermountain Health St. Mary's Regional Hospital in Grand Junction, Colorado is seeking an Inpatient Pharmacy Technician to support daily operations and collaborate with pharmacists and technicians to prepare prescriptions and manage medication access.

Qualifications
- High School or equivalent is required.
- Current pharmacy technician certification and/or license applicable to state of practice.
- Knowledge of state and federal regulations for pharmacy practice and controlled substances.
Responsibilities
- Assist the pharmacist in collecting patient information and maintaining records.
- Prepare medication orders and compounds using approved workflow and state regulations.
- Verify tasks with supervising pharmacist to ensure accuracy.
- Maintain medication supplies and monitor controlled substance inventories.
- Communicate with caregivers and participate in quality and patient safety initiatives.
