Intermountain Health's St. Mary’s Regional Hospital in Grand Junction, Colorado seeks an Inpatient Pharmacy Technician to support daily operations, prepare prescriptions, coordinate medication access, and collaborate with pharmacists and technicians.
This role features 10-hour day shifts with weekend/holiday rotations; benefits eligible with extensive on‑the‑job training, CE credits, and development opportunities; experienced candidates with IV compounding and Omnicell familiarity are preferred,
Qualifications
- High School or equivalent required.
- Current pharmacy technician certification and/or license applicable to state of practice.
- Knowledge of state and federal regulations regarding distribution of drugs and controlled substances.
Responsabilités
- Assists pharmacists in collecting patient information and maintaining records.
- Prepares medication orders for dispensing and compounds medications as needed.
- Ensures accurate inventory and controlled substance security.
- Communicates with caregivers and participates in quality and patient safety initiatives.
- Operates pharmacy technology to support daily workflows.
