Job summary

Intermountain Health St. Mary's Regional Hospital in Grand Junction, CO, is seeking an Inpatient Pharmacy Technician to support daily operations, prepare prescriptions, and coordinate medication access in a growing program.

You will work with pharmacists and other technicians to optimize drug therapy, with onsite training and CE opportunities as part of a dedicated team of 55 caregivers. The role offers a stable schedule in a modern hospital setting.

Qualifications

• Inpatient pharmacy experience and IV compounding skills preferred.
• Familiarity with Omnicell equipment and workflow.
• New grads welcome to apply.
• Strong collaboration with pharmacists and nurses.
• Knowledge of state and federal pharmacy regulations.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacists in collecting patient information and maintaining appropriate records.
• Prepare medication orders and perform compounding per policy and law.
• Obtain supervision and verification by pharmacists when needed.
• Maintain medication supplies and monitor controlled substances per policy.
• Communicate with caregivers and participate in safety initiatives.
