Job summary

Ascension St Vincent Hospital Indianapolis in Indianapolis, IN is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to join our Pharmacy team. You will provide distributive pharmacy services and technical support for the pharmacist, supporting medication preparation and inventory management.

This full-time role offers rotating shifts, on-site work, and opportunities to grow professionally through ongoing education and professional development within a mission-driven Catholic health system.

Qualifications

• High School diploma equivalency or 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.

Responsibilities

• Refill and maintain automated dispensing systems.
• Prepare orders and maintain inventory for the pharmacy department.
• Repackage bulk medications.
• Receive and store incoming supplies.
• Serve as liaison between pharmacy, patient and health professional by providing information as necessary.

What Minimum Requirements You’ll Need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

One Or More Of The Following Required

• In Training Pharmacy Tech obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
• Licensed Pharmacy Tech credentialed from the Indiana Board Of Pharmacy obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
• Pharmacy Intern obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.

One Or More Of The Following Preferred

• Licensed Pharmacy Tech credentialed from the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB).
• Pharmacy Tech credentialed from the National Healthcareer Association.

Education

• High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
• Note: Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.
