Qualifications

• High school or equivalent is required.
• Current pharmacy technician certification and/or license applicable to state of practice.
• Current knowledge of state and federal regulations regarding the practice of pharmacy and distribution of approved drugs.

• Top candidates have inpatient pharmacy experience, IV compounding skills, and familiarity with Omnicell.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacists in collecting patient information and maintaining records as required by policy.
• Prepare medication orders for dispensing and compound medications per site policy.
• Ensure supervision and accuracy checks with pharmacists.
• Maintain accurate inventory, including controlled substances and 340B/charging management.
• Communicate with caregivers and participate in quality and safety initiatives.
