Job summary

Intermountain Health's St. Mary’s Regional Hospital in Grand Junction, Colorado seeks an Inpatient Pharmacy Technician to support daily operations, prepare prescriptions, coordinate medication access, and assist in establishing workflows within a growing hospital program.

You will collaborate with pharmacists and technicians, receive 8 weeks of onsite training, and have access to continuing education credits throughout the year to advance professionally.

Qualifications

High School or equivalent required.
Current pharmacy technician certification/licensure for state of practice.
Knowledge of state and federal regulations governing pharmacy practice and distribution of drugs.

Responsibilities

Assist pharmacist in collecting patient information and maintaining records.
Prepare medication orders for dispensing and perform compounding as required.
Ensure supervision/verification by pharmacist when needed and maintain accuracy checks.
