Job summary

Intermountain Health seeks an Inpatient Pharmacy Technician to support daily operations in the inpatient pharmacy at St. Mary’s Regional Hospital, Grand Junction.

You will assist with prescription preparation, medication access, and patient care experiences, coordinating with pharmacists and fellow technicians. New grads welcome; training provided, with advanced tech workflows and 340B/charging management support.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Current pharmacy technician certification and/or license applicable to the state of practice.
• Knowledge of state and federal pharmacy regs and controlled substances.

Responsibilities

• Assist the pharmacist in collecting clinical and patient information and maintaining records.
• Prepare medication orders for dispensing and perform compounding as needed under supervision.
• Verify tasks with pharmacists and ensure appropriate supervision.
• Maintain medication supplies, verify inventories, and support 340B/charging management.
• Communicate with caregivers and participate in quality and patient safety initiatives.
