Job summary

Intermountain Health is seeking an Inpatient Pharmacy Technician to support daily operations at St. Mary’s Regional Hospital in Grand Junction, CO. You will assist pharmacists, prepare prescriptions, coordinate medication access, and support patient care throughout hospital stays.

Qualifications

• High School or equivalent is required.
• Current pharmacy technician certification and/or license applicable to state of practice.
• Knowledge of state and federal regulations governing pharmacy practice.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacists in collecting patient information and maintaining records.
• Prepare medication orders for dispensing and perform calculations for accurate compounding.
• Verify tasks with supervision and ensure pharmacist sign-off when required.
• Maintain medication supplies and monitor controlled substance inventories.
• Communicate with caregivers and participate in quality and safety initiatives.
• Support workflow optimization and patient care experiences.
