Foundation Health Partners is seeking a Pharmacy Tech II to join the Inpatient team in Fairbanks, Alaska. Under pharmacist supervision, you will handle packaging, distribution, and record keeping of medications, including compounded and IV meds, and assist in training apprentices and volunteers.

Qualifications

• Under direct supervision, perform routine duties in packaging, distribution and record keeping.
• Assist in preparing compounded and IV medications, TPN products and hazardous meds.
• May educate, train and oversee Technician Apprentices and volunteers.

Responsibilities

• Selects and prepares medications under direct supervision as indicated on orders.
• Restocks medications and maintains inventory.
• Assists in labeling and preparation of IV medications and TPN.
• Coordinates workflow of technicians and assists in staffing as needed.
• Uses automated dispensing tech and documents interventions.
