Qualifications

• Pharmacy Certified Technician required within 12 months from registration with the Board of Pharmacy.
• Registered with Iowa Board of Pharmacy as a Pharmacy Technician Trainee prior to starting employment OR as a Pharmacy Intern.
• Registered with the State of Iowa at time of hire.

Responsibilities

• Identify, locate and pull appropriate quantity of medication from orders.
• Prepare medication for dispensing.
• Package medication orders for delivery.
• Deliver prescription orders to patients or patient care areas under the direction of the pharmacist.
• Enter accurate and complete data into computer system.
• Verify and maintain up-to-date information.
