Job summary

Renown Health in Reno, NV seeks an experienced pharmacist leader to supervise inpatient pharmacy operations at Renown Regional Medical Center. The role includes staffing, scheduling, training, and coordinating workload to ensure safe, efficient patient care.

You will collaborate with pharmacy leadership to meet financial and clinical goals, participate in budget processes, and attend regular staff and pharmacist meetings. Prior hospital pharmacy experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English sufficiently to perform job duties safely and effectively.
• Completion of a Pharmacy Clinical Practice Residency or equivalent training program in clinical pharmacy is preferred.
• Previous hospital pharmacy experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide pharmacy staff supervision and operational oversight for the inpatient pharmacy.
• Assist in training pharmacists, residents, nurse practitioners, pharmacy interns, technicians and students.
• Participate in budgeting, staffing, scheduling, and quality initiatives for the department.
• Ensure 24/7 operations coverage and adherence to policies.
