Job summary

Renown Health in Reno, NV seeks a Pharmacist Supervisor to lead the inpatient pharmacy team. This management role provides operational oversight, ensures staffing, and drives quality initiatives in a 24/7 hospital setting.

The supervisor will mentor pharmacists, residents, and staff, coordinate training, and support adherence to policies while partnering with pharmacy leadership on budget and clinical goals.

Qualifications

• Pharmacy Clinical Practice Residency or equivalent training preferred.
• Previous hospital pharmacy experience preferred.
• Ability to obtain Nevada Pharmacist license upon hire; board certification preferred.
• BLS and ACLS certification within first 90 days of employment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and related online learning tools.

Responsibilities

• Supervise pharmacy staff and oversee daily operations.
• Coordinate scheduling, onboarding, coaching and performance reviews.
• Support inpatient pharmacy services with adherence to policies and budget goals.
• Train residents, students, technicians, and pharmacists as needed.
• Participate in quality initiatives and process improvement projects.
