Qualifications

• Residency-trained candidates must obtain board certification within 24 months.
• ASHP preceptor qualifications must be met within 12 months.

Responsibilities

• Process prescription orders and review patient profiles.
• Prepare, dispense, and manage medications to support safe and effective therapy.
• Adjust therapy and order labs per consult agreement when applicable.
• Provide education to patients, caregivers, health professionals, and the public.
