Job summary

Jefferson Health in Stratford, NJ seeks a Clinical Pharmacist to oversee medication distribution and optimize drug therapy for patients. You will identify, prevent, and resolve drug therapy issues, ensuring each medication is indicated, effective, safe, and convenient.

Responsibilities include staff training, precepting student pharmacists, and supporting quality initiatives within the Pharmacy department.

Qualifications

• Doctorate of Pharmacy or RPH required and eligible to practice in PA.
• Knowledge of pharmacokinetic principles for dosing.
• Monitor patients for drug therapy responses.
• Identify and document drug-related events in the EDMS.
• Promote compliance with hospital formulary and procedures.
• Provide age-appropriate patient care across diverse populations.
• RP - Registered Pharmacist in PA (or eligible).

Responsibilities

• Oversees the distribution of medications across the unit.
• Ensures drug therapy appropriateness and policy compliance.
• Interacts with staff and training of residents, interns, and technicians.
• Precepts student pharmacists as assigned.
• Supports quality assurance initiatives for Pharmacy services.
