Job summary

Qualifications

• Doctorate in Pharmacy (PharmD) or equivalent (RPH).
• Knowledge of pharmacokinetic principles required for medication dosing.
• Monitor patients for response to medications.
• Identify and document sentinel events, near misses, medication errors and adverse drug reactions.

Responsibilities

• Interacts with co-workers and staff per hospital values.
• Oversees distribution of medications throughout the hospital.
• Supports processes to assure quality of Pharmacy services.
• Trains staff including residents, interns, technicians, and new pharmacists.
• Precepts student pharmacists per policy.
