Job summary

Advocate Health in Wisconsin is seeking a Full-time Physical Therapist to cover inpatient acute care three days a week and outpatient services two days weekly. Primary focus is outpatient orthopedics, with specialties encouraged and supported by mentorship for new graduates.

You will evaluate and treat musculoskeletal conditions, develop a plan of care, monitor progress, and discharge patients with written home programs and family instruction.

Qualifications

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Licensed Physical Therapist in the state of practice.
• Excellent communication and organizational abilities.

Responsibilities

• Interprets physician referrals and conducts musculoskeletal, neuromuscular, cardiopulmonary, and/or integumentary evaluations.
• Establishes a plan of care and implements individualized treatment.
• Monitors outcomes and adjusts the plan; communicates with physicians and teammates.
• Plans for discharge with home programs and family teaching; coordinates referrals and equipment.
