Universal Health Services, Inc. in Sparks, NV seeks an inpatient Physical Therapist for Northern Nevada Medical Center to evaluate, plan and administer PT for adolescent to geriatric patients, collaborating with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to improve outcomes and patient satisfaction.

The PT must hold a current state license, have 3+ years of experience, and possess a current BLS certification. A $2,000 sign-on bonus is available for experienced PTs, with strong emphasis on compassionate

Qualificações

• Current State Physical Therapy Licensure.
• Three (3) or more years of previous experience in all aspects of physical therapy, preferred.
• Current BLS certification.

Responsabilidades

• Evaluates patients and develops treatment plans and goals, monitors patient progress and modifies plan of treatment and goals as needed.
• Reports the patients' progress to staff, patients, and family; participates in care conferences and team rounds; submits evaluations, plans and discharge reports.
• Maintains all required documentation for each patient and communicates with physicians and third-party payers.
• Works collaboratively with the multidisciplinary healthcare team; provides supervision to assigned staff, students or volunteers.
• Schedules and coordinates patient care; provides a variety of therapeutic interventions to facilitate safe discharge and seamless continuity of care.
• Plans and participates in education to enhance personal clinical skills; assists in staff orientation and training; develops or updates programs.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
