Job summary

6 Degrees Search is seeking a Laborist for a Northwest Indiana client in Munster. This full-time, permanent inpatient OB/GYN role offers a compensation range of $320,000 to $400,000 per year with relocation assistance.

You will work with EPIC EMR, lead obstetric emergencies, and follow a 144-hour per month schedule while collaborating with maternal-fetal medicine, pediatrics, and APN teams. Board certification in OB/GYN is required or anticipated; Indiana license support is provided.

Qualifications

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
• US MD or DO degree; Indiana license or eligibility.
• Experience with EPIC EMR and AI-assisted documentation.

Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient obstetric and gynecologic care, including active labor, routine deliveries, and C-section procedures.
• Maintain a predictable schedule: 144 hours per month (1,728 yearly).
• Manage phone availability per hospitalist shift rotations.
• Lead obstetric emergencies and triage evaluations.
• Collaborate with maternal-fetal medicine, pediatrics, and APN staff.
