The Psychiatric Institute of Washington (PIW) is seeking a Mental Health Tech to directly support patients in an inpatient behavioral health setting. You will work with nurses, therapists, and the multidisciplinary team to maintain a safe, therapeutic environment, providing essential daily care and contributing to treatment programs.

Applicants should have a high school diploma or equivalent and CPR/BLS certification.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• CPR/BLS Certification through the American Heart Association required.
• Preferred: previous behavioral health, healthcare, residential, or direct-care experience.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Provide direct support and supervision to patients in an inpatient behavioral health setting
• Assist with maintaining a safe, structured, and therapeutic environment
• Observe patient behaviors and communicate relevant changes to the clinical team
• Support patients with daily activities and treatment programming
• Participate in therapeutic activities and milieu management
• Work collaboratively with nurses, therapists, and other members of the treatment team
• Follow hospital safety, documentation, and patient-care procedures
