The Psychiatric Institute of Washington (PIW) is seeking a Mental Health Tech to work directly with patients in a dynamic inpatient behavioral health unit. You will collaborate with nurses, therapists, and the broader treatment team to maintain a safe, compassionate, and therapeutic environment.

You will support daily activities, monitor patient behaviors, and participate in milieu management while adhering to hospital policies and documentation standards.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Preference for behavioral health, psychiatric or healthcare experience.
• Bachelor's degree is a plus.

Aufgaben

• Provide direct support and supervision to patients in an inpatient behavioral health setting.
• Assist with maintaining a safe, structured, and therapeutic environment.
• Observe patient behaviors and communicate relevant changes to the clinical team.
• Support patients with daily activities and treatment programming.
• Participate in therapeutic activities and milieu management.
• Work collaboratively with nurses, therapists, and other members of the treatment team.
• Follow hospital safety, documentation, and patient-care procedures.
