The Psychiatric Institute of Washington (PIW) is seeking a Mental Health Tech to provide direct patient support in an inpatient behavioral health setting. You will collaborate with nurses, therapists, and a multidisciplinary team to maintain a safe, structured, and therapeutic environment, while assisting with daily activities and treatment programming.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Preferred: previous behavioral health, psychiatric, healthcare, residential, or direct-care experience.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.

Aufgaben

• Provide direct support and supervision to patients in an inpatient behavioral health setting.
• Assist with maintaining a safe, structured, and therapeutic environment.
• Observe patient behaviors and communicate relevant changes to the clinical team.
• Support patients with daily activities and treatment programming.
• Participate in therapeutic activities and milieu management.
• Work collaboratively with nurses, therapists, and other members of the treatment team.
• Follow hospital safety, documentation, and patient-care procedures.
