Qualifications

• Masters degree or higher in a related field with practicum
• Graduate of an accredited therapy program
• Minimum three years' experience in a similar position or industry
• Knowledge of hospital policies, safety and infection control
• Master's degree preferred in Nursing, Counseling, Psychology or Social Work
• Licenses/certifications such as LPC/LMHC/LCSW/LCPC/LPCC may be required

Responsibilities

• Provide high quality patient care and assess patients' functional needs and outcomes
• Consult with treatment team and participate as a multidisciplinary team member
• Review and adjust care plans to help patients express emotions safely
• Contribute to unit community relations and collaborate with team
• Function in various therapeutic roles depending on program needs and training
