Job summary

Qualifications

• Master's degree in a health or human service field with practicum.
• Minimum three years' experience in a similar position or industry.
• Familiarity with hospital policies, procedures, quality improvement, safety and infection control.

Responsibilities

• Provide high quality patient care and assess patients' functional needs and outcomes.
• Consult with and participate as part of the patients' treatment team.
• Act as a member of the multidisciplinary team and unit community relations team.
• Review patient needs and adjust care plans to help patients express emotions safely and effectively.
• Function in various therapeutic roles depending on program needs and education.
