Job summary

Universal Health Services' Kingwood Pines Hospital seeks a licensed mental health therapist to support inpatient and PHP/IOP programs. You’ll perform psychosocial assessments, lead group and individual therapy, and coordinate discharge planning alongside case management.

Requirements include a Master’s in Social Work or related field and Texas licensure (LMSW/LCSW or equivalent), plus CPR and crisis intervention training. Orientation Week 1 is mandatory.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Social Work or clinical mental health field required.
• TX state licensure: LPC, LPC-I, LPC-A, LMSW, LMFT or LCSW required.
• Minimum of two years’ experience in a psychiatric health care facility with family and group therapies, crisis intervention, and treatment skills.
• CPR and HWC Crisis Intervention training must be completed prior to start.
• Must be available to attend the full hospital orientation: Week 1: M-F 8 AM - 5 PM.
