The role involves facilitating groups, supporting therapeutic activities, monitoring safety, and documenting progress. A Bachelor’s degree in Behavioral Health or related field is required, with CPI and CPR certifications preferred or to be obtained.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Behavioral Health or related field.
• For non-behavioral health degrees, at least one year of behavioral health experience.
• CPI certification within 90 days of hire; CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Facilitates didactic, educational and unit/program community groups.
• Encourages and facilitates patients' participation in therapeutic activities.
• Supervises patients to ensure safety and involvement in treatment.
• Provides one-to-one supervision to ensure safety.
• Completes unit rounds and real-time precautions records.
• Assists with discharge planning and information handoffs.
• Documents patient progress and participates in care planning with the team.
