Job summary

Endeavor Health in Naperville, IL is seeking a Mental Health Associate I to support patient care at Linden Oaks Hospital. You will facilitate groups, supervise patients for safety, orient new admissions and contribute to discharge planning within an interdisciplinary team.

This part-time evening role (20 hours per week) 3:00–11:30pm with rotating weekends/holidays. Join a Magnet-recognized system committed to community care and professional growth within our network.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a behavioral health field or related area.
• Experience or familiarity with clinical terminology and settings.
• Ability to work with patients in therapeutic activities and groups.

Responsibilities

• Facilitates didactic, educational and unit/program community groups.
• Provides one-to-one supervision to ensure patient safety.
• Orients new patients and assists with hand-off information.
• Participates in treatment planning with the interdisciplinary team.
• Completes patient, program and department documentation.
• Performs clerical/administrative tasks to support operations.
• Monitors progress and communicates updates to team and families.

Skills

Familiarity with medical and psycholog

Teaching or assisting with activities

Therapeutic limit-setting and milieu

Education

Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Behavioral Health field

Bachelor’s Degree or higher in non-Behavioral Health field with 1 year behavioral health experience
