Job summary

The role requires a current LPN license, BLS within 30 days of hire, and adherence to background checks as required. The successful candidate will assist with examinations, document patient data, and administer medications under supervision, while collaborating with the health-care team.

Qualifications

• Current LPN license as required by the state or multi-state license via eNLC.
• BLS certification obtained within 30 days of hire.
• State and federal background checks as required.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct patient care according to the plan of care and consults with the RN or Respiratory Therapist as needed.
• Performs designated therapeutic procedures.
• Observes, records, and reports patient concerns and progress promptly.
• Assists physicians with examinations and procedures.
• Contributes to nursing assessments by collecting and reporting data.
• Administers medications via IM, subcutaneous, IV, oral, nebulization, and/or MDI as assigned.
• Obtains supervision when implementing nursing techniques.
• Annual education related to specialty accreditation as defined by standards.
