Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care per plan of care and under supervision to promote comfort and functional health.
• Perform designated therapeutic procedures as needed.
• Observe, document, and report patient concerns and progress promptly.
• Assist physicians and supervising roles with examinations and procedures.
• Contribute to nursing assessment by collecting and reporting data.
• Monitor patient condition and report deviations from normal health status.
• Assist in developing the patient’s plan of care and priorities.
• Educate patients and families and participate in rehabilitation under supervision.
• Document nursing interventions and responses in the health record.
• Administer medications safely via IM, Subcutaneous, IV, oral, nebulization, and MDI routes.
• Seek instruction as needed when implementing nursing techniques.
