Job summary

WVU Medicine Princeton Community Hospital is seeking an LPN to provide direct patient care in an inpatient setting. The role supports physicians and RNs, administering medications and participating in care planning.

The ideal candidate holds a current LPN license with a WV license or multi-state eNLC license, and will obtain BLS within 30 days. Strong communication and teamwork skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Current Licensed Practical Nurse license issued by the state or multi-state LPN license via eNLC.
• Obtain Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days of hire.
• State and Federal background check as required for regulated areas.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct patient care per patient plan and in coordination with RN/Respiratory Therapist.
• Performs designated therapeutic procedures as needed.
• Observes, records and reports patient concerns, symptoms and progress promptly.
• Assists physicians and overseeing staff with examinations and procedures.
• Contributes to nursing assessment by collecting and reporting data.
• Documents nursing interventions and responses to care.
