Qualifications

• Current Licensed Practical Nurse license issued by the state where services will be provided or a current multi-state LPN license through eNLC.
• Obtain certification in Basic Life Support within 30 days of hire date.
• State criminal background check and Federal (if applicable) background checks as required for regulated areas.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct patient care as outlined in the patient’s plan of care to promote comfort and return to functional health.
• Performs designated therapeutic procedures as needed and assists physicians and the overseeing role with examinations and procedures.
• Observes and reports patient concerns, symptoms, and progress in a timely manner to the overseeing role.
• Documents nursing interventions and responses to care and communicates with health care team.
• Administers medications via IM, subcutaneous, IV, oral, nebulization, and MDI as assigned.
