UHC United Hospital Center in Bridgeport, WV seeks an LPN to provide direct nursing care in an outpatient clinic setting, following established standards of care and collaborating with physicians and registered nurses.

The role requires a current LPN license (or multi-state eNLC) and BLS certification within 30 days of hire. The nurse will take vital signs, administer medications, assist with exams, and help manage patient flow in a busy outpatient unit.

Formación

• Current Licensed Practical Nurse license issued by the state in which services will be provided or current multi-state Licensed Practical Nurse license through the enhanced Nurse Licensure Compact (eNLC).
• Obtain certification in Basic Life Support within 30 days of hire date.

Responsabilidades

• Provides direct nursing care to patients in an outpatient medical office setting.
• Uses standards of care to guide care delivery.
• Administers IM, subcutaneous, and oral medications as ordered.
• Consults with Provider or RN for guidance.
• Record data in patient’s medical record and communicate to physician.
