Trustbridge Hospice, a member of Empath Health, is seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join the Inpatient Care Center team in West Palm Beach, FL. The RN will coordinate end-of-life care, assess needs, and deliver education and interventions in collaboration with the IDG and primary physician.

The role requires Florida RN licensure, BLS, and hospice nursing experience or strong interest. PRN shifts include weekends, with competitive pay and comprehensive benefits offered by Empath

Qualifications

• State-licensed Florida RN in good standing.
• Current BLS certification.
• 1 year in hospice, home health, oncology, medical/surgical, or geriatric nursing preferred.
• Understanding of hospice nursing: case management, crisis intervention, communication, teaching, and thanatology.
• Basic computer skills; EMR experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate patient and family care with the primary physician and IDG.
• Conduct thorough assessments of patient and family needs.
• Ensure timely delivery of interventions per care plan.
• Monitor patient conditions and provide education to enhance comfort.
• Address concerns to maintain high patient/family satisfaction.
