Job summary

Trustbridge Hospice in Fort Lauderdale, part of Empath Health, is seeking an Admissions Nurse (RN) to guide patients and families through hospice planning with empathy and clarity.

As part of the Admissions Team serving Broward County, you will evaluate referrals, educate families about hospice care, coordinate plans with physicians and facilities, and serve as a liaison to hospitals. Friday-Sunday 9:00 AM–9:30 PM schedule is required.

Qualifications

• Florida RN license is required.
• BSN preferred for this role.
• BLS certification is required.
• Minimum of one year in public health, home health, oncology, med/surg, geriatric, or hospice nursing.
• Ability to assess physical and psychosocial needs of patient and family.
• Strong communication, teaching, and crisis intervention skills.
