Job summary

Qualifications

• High School diploma or General Education Development (GED).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Minimum of 1 year as NA, CMA, HUC, or other patient facing clinical experience, plus 6 months in clerical, customer service or medical administration.

Responsibilities

• Assists providers with arranging patient discharge.
• Coordinates and expedites services outlined on providers orders with appropriate staff throughout the hospital.
• Observes, collects, and documents patient information as requested by providers. Prompts reports significant information to a nurse or physician.
• Performs general office support duties as needed.
• Schedules return appointments for patients.
