Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care in Florida is seeking an inpatient RN CAP 2 to join the Clinical Advancement Program. You will provide and coordinate clinically competent care for an assigned group of dialysis patients, including assessment, planning, intervention and evaluation.

This entry-level RN CAP 2 role supports education, consultation with the care team, and quality improvement activities. Current state licensure and CPR/BLS certification are required; acute dialysis experience is preferred;

Qualifications

• Entry level for RNs with minimum 2 years or more of Nephrology Nursing experience in the last 2 years as a RN.
• Acute dialysis experience (preferred).
• Current appropriate state licensure.
• Current or successful completion of CPR BLS Certification.
• Must meet the practice requirements in all states employed.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate clinically competent care including assessment, planning, intervention and evaluation for an assigned group of patients.
• Delegate appropriate tasks to direct patient care staff including RNs, LVN/LPNs and Patient Care Technicians.
• Provide education to patients and their families.
• Direct and provide safe, effective patient care for dialysis patients as prescribed.
