Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care in Florida is seeking a professional Registered Nurse for the CAP 2 track within the Clinical Advancement Program. You will provide and coordinate clinically competent care for an assigned group of patients on dialysis.

Responsibilities include assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation, with collaboration across the care team. Current RN license and CPR/BLS certification are required; nephrology/dialysis experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• RN CAP 2 entry level designation may be earned by new employees who meet CAP criteria.
• Minimum 2 years or more of nephrology nursing experience in the last 2 years as an RN.
• Acute dialysis experience is preferred.
• Current appropriate state licensure and CPR/BLS certification are required.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for dialysis patients.
• Document patient data and adjust treatment plans as indicated.
• Educate patients and families on care needs.
• Collaborate with Supervisor, Physician, and facility staff to ensure continuity of care.
• Provide safe, effective patient care and respond to adverse events.
• May precept or coach new staff and serve as a resource to the team.
