Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care is seeking a professional Registered Nurse for the Inpatient RN CAP 2 track in our Florida facilities. You will be responsible for providing and coordinating clinically competent care across an assigned patient group in the kidney care program.

Position requires current RN licensure, BLS, and CAP2 eligibility. The role emphasizes teaching, leadership, and collaboration with staff to improve patient outcomes and program operations.

Qualifications

• RN CAP2 eligibility or CAP2 status for new employees
• Minimum 2 years Nephrology Nursing experience in the last 2 years as an RN
• Acute dialysis experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Assess and coordinate care for assigned dialysis patients.
• Document patient data before during and after treatment.
• Administer medications as prescribed and monitor responses.
• Provide patient and family education on treatment plans.
• Coordinate with physicians and support staff to ensure continuity of care.
• Lead or precept new staff as needed and participate in quality initiatives
