Job summary

Fresenius Kidney Care in Florida is seeking a Registered Nurse with CAP 2 eligibility to participate in the Clinical Advancement Program. You will assess, plan, intervene and evaluate care for an assigned patient group in a dialysis setting, coordinating with nurses and aides to ensure safe, effective treatment.

Responsibilities include data collection, updating care plans, reporting changes to the supervisor and physician, and acting as a role model for team members while maintaining compliance

Qualifications

• Current state RN licensure.
• 2+ years nephrology nursing experience in the last 2 years as an RN.
• Acute dialysis experience preferred.
• Must meet CAP requirements and complete program training.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate clinically competent care for assigned patients.
• Assess, plan, intervene and evaluate patient care in dialysis settings.
• Delegate appropriate tasks to RNs, LVN/LPNs, and Patient Care Technicians as applicable.
• Lead and mentor new staff and participate in quality improvement activities.
