Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care is seeking a Registered Nurse CAP 2 for inpatient dialysis units in Florida. The role provides and coordinates clinically competent care, including assessment, planning, intervention and evaluation for an assigned group of patients, with supervision from RN leadership and education staff.

You may delegate to Patient Care Technicians and collaborate with physicians, nurses, and facility teams to ensure patient safety and quality care.

Qualifications

• RN licensure in the appropriate state.
• CPR BLS certification required.
• Minimum 2 years of Nephrology Nursing experience in the last 2 years.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate care for assigned patients.
• Delegate appropriate tasks to direct patient care staff (RNs, LVN/LPN, PCTs).
• Document ongoing patient data and adjust treatment plans as needed.
• Educate patients and families about care needs.
• Collaborate with supervisors, physicians and facility staff to ensure quality care.
• Provide safe, effective patient care as prescribed and participate in on-call rotations.
