Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care in Carmel, Indiana seeks an entrylevel RN for the Inpatient Services CAP1 role, providing and coordinating care for dialysis patients. As part of the Clinical Advancement Program, you will work under supervision to learn and apply nephrology nursing practices.

You will perform assessments, develop care plans, administer medications, and support education for patients and families, with opportunities to advance through the CAP.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current appropriate state licensure.
• Current or successful CPR BLS Certification.
• Must meet practice requirements in all states in which employed.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate clinically competent care including assessment, planning, intervention and evaluation for assigned patients.
• Document data collection and analysis pre-, during- and post-treatment; adjust the plan as indicated.
• Administer medications as prescribed and monitor patient responses.
• Assist in staff training and orientation of new staff as assigned.
• Direct and supervise patient care staff as RN in Charge as permitted.
