Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care is seeking an entry-level Registered Nurse for the Inpatient Services CAP track in Ohio. The RN CAP 1 will provide and coordinate clinically competent care for an assigned group of patients within the dialysis program, including assessment, planning, intervention and evaluation under supervision.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current appropriate state licensure.
• Current CPR BLS Certification.
• Must meet practice requirements in all states employed.

Responsibilities

• Performs all essential functions under supervision and mentor guidance.
• Collects and analyzes patient data pre–during–post treatment and documents in medical records; adjusts treatment plan as indicated.
• Provides patient and family education.
• Collaborates with health team and reports changes in patient status.
• Delivers safe, effective care for dialysis patients and coordinates with staff.
• Initiates communication with dialysis providers and facility personnel for continuity of care.
• Administers prescribed medications and documents justification and effectiveness.
• Participates in staff training and orientation.
