Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care in Green Bay, WI seeks an entry-level Registered Nurse (RN) CAP 1 to join the Clinical Advancement Program. You will provide and coordinate clinically competent care for an assigned patient group, including assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation.

You’ll collaborate with RNs, LVN/LPNs, and Patient Care Technicians, participate in teaching, leadership, and quality improvement activities, and may be asked to support outpatient facilities as needed.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current valid state nursing licensure.
• CPR/BLS certification current.

Responsibilities

• Performs nursing assessments and coordinates patient care under supervision and with Educator/Preceptor.
• Monitors and documents patient data during dialysis and adjusts plans as needed.
• Educates patient and family on care plans and learning needs.
• Reports changes in patient status to supervisors, physicians, and nursing staff.
• Delivers safe, effective care for dialysis procedures as prescribed.
• Coordinates communication with dialysis providers and facility staff for continuity of care.
• Administers medications and documents rationale and effectiveness.
• Participates in staff training and orientation as assigned.

Education

Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing

Current state nursing licensure

CPR/BLS Certification
