Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care in Dallas, TX seeks an entry-level Registered Nurse for the Inpatient Services CAP 1 program. The role provides coordinated, evidence-based nursing care for dialysis patients, including assessment, planning, and evaluation across treatment modalities.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current appropriate state licensure.
• Current or successful completion of CPR BLS Certification.
• Must meet the practice requirements in all states in which he or she is employed.

Responsibilities

• Performs data collection and analysis of patient data pre–, during–, post‑treatment and documents in the medical record.
• Adjusts treatment plan as indicated in collaboration with the care team and notifies appropriate personnel.
• Provides patient/family education about learning needs and care.
• Directs safe and effective care for dialysis patients as prescribed.
• Coordinates communication with facilities and providers to ensure continuity of patient care.
• Administers prescribed medications and monitors patient response.
