Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care is seeking an entry-level Registered Nurse for its Clinical Advancement Program (CAP 1) in inpatient services. The RN will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for an assigned patient group and delegate to other care staff as appropriate.

Responsibilities include data collection around dialysis treatment, updating care plans, educating patients and families, and coordinating with the dialysis team.

Qualifications

• RN CAP1 entry level position into Clinical Advancement Program.
• Must maintain nursing practice per policy, standards, and regulations.
• Active RN licensure in relevant states and CPR/BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Perform essential functions under supervision and with educator guidance.
• Collect and analyze patient data before, during, and after dialysis treatments; adjust care as needed.
• Educate patients and families about care plans and learning needs.
• Provide safe, effective patient care and coordinate with staff and physicians.
• Coordinate communication with dialysis providers and facility personnel to ensure continuity of care.
• Administer prescribed medications and monitor responses and adverse reactions.
• Initiate emergency response measures when needed and participate in staff training.
